I didn't have an easy life n I've moved to live alone at 18, with my appearance I was an easy target for creeps
I faced lot of shit n was never feeling safe
I like that he makes me feel safe n he is capable to protect me
as for others I don't really care what they might think, I am happy n that's what matters the most

plus I never looked for a man much larger than me, never been my goal
my ex wasn't a tall guy
n as for my current boyfriend, when we met it wasn't planned aka I didn't look for him or knew how tall he is till we met
what i was looking for in a guy was beyond looks
I wanted a guy with good heart, honest guy

@laly520 even a guy who was 5’2” would be tall compared to you…but you literally said that a big reason you like your boyfriend is that he makes you feel safe to how tall he is…which is why I mentioned that if you were single and a 4’6” man asked you out, you’d probably say no even if he could protect you better than your boyfriend because you wouldn’t feel like a man shorter than you could protect you even if that wasn’t the case…

if I was single, the guy I would date (talking only about height not other aspects) has to be at same height as me n not shorter cuz I'm already so short the way I am

@laly520 that’s not a preference, that’s a dealbreaker. And making an uncontrollable physical characteristic a dealbreaker is ridiculous. Unless it would cause big logistical issues or there is massive lifestyle incompatibility. Like if you were to say “I’d rather date a guy taller than me, but if a guy was otherwise interesting but slightly shorter than me, I’d give it a shot”, that would be reasonable. Saying you will never date a guy shorter than you no matter what is unreasonable, no matter your height

Don't worry him and a bunch of other incels have it in their heads the women 'only' want tall guys and he's got a bit of an axe to grind cause maybe he's not so tall himself. we got a few of these on this site.
