This guy ended up blocking me every where because he thinks these bad thoughts about me. Am I just meant to be single?

A few days ago I matched with a guy on a dating app that posted on his instagram story that he could sense that I’m fake and manipulative from a mile away and it was definitely 100 percent directed towards me. Now I am blocked every where and I am never going to see him again because he thought these bad things about me. He wanted an actual relationship with me. How am I going to find anyone to date now that almost every guy that wants an actual relationship with me will think these bad things about me? I am truly a kind person that tries to treat a guy well but every guy will think these bad things about me now and I’m going to end up single because of this. What should I do and what are your thoughts of this?

I feel this reflects your age. What the internet thinks of a person isn't going to change any adult persons experience of the girl in question, in person (indeed, the evidence is that a bad reputation online often is even an encouragement, see renowned figures like Amoranth on Twitch; I don't know what she's really like I don't watch but you hear stuff said and I am suspicious more of the sayers than the person to which the stuff is said).

The internet should just be a 'fun' place to hang out, if its become where you're spending your life (meaning what's posted on here is defining you) its a hint your maybe spending too much time online.

That said, I know its concerning when someone posts stuff which you know to be untrue about your internet identity (which is why most people online don't use their real names and information, not to hide stuff, but because theirs bad actors out there).

Dating app's aren't a good way to meet people. They are a good way to set yourself up for unhappyness because you will be left feeling like some 'good one' got away, who you never had a chance to really meet, and they where judging you on a really shallow impression of you based on whatever you've posted (of course that can happen IRL too, but at least IRL you know there's a chance because you've got IRL connections with whomever).

If it's just two they are jerks. If it's 5 maybe you are doing something manipulative. If it's more you may need to try something else entirely

I feel like you’re leaving things out and not giving us the full story. How is it possible that each man you’ve dealt with has thought you’re fake and manipulative? At least that’s what you said the last time you posted this. People don’t just out of the blue call you those things then block you, let alone having it happen over and over. Maybe it’s time to look inward.
