Girls, what would you do if a guy started talking to you and you didn't like his appearance?

I met my boyfriend online. We used to talk and over there only and for the 3 months we have not seen each other's face. But I liked his thoughts, maturity and I was already attracted to that. Then after 5 month he visited me then I saw he is short and that was very much difficult for me to accept. I was feeling awkward thinking to get judged by the people around me. I was trying to stay with a distance with him. It was really really very tough for me.

But after 2nd and 3rd visit which was almost after a year I started getting comfortable with it. And now I don't mind. Now I don't mind standing with him talking at public places even where people are watching us.

I talk to men I don’t find attractive all the time. I’ll continue the conversation depending on the intent. I usually just tell them “no thank you 😊 “ though if they ask for anything further.

One girl told me she wouldn’t be talking to be if I was ugly…so if I assume she would have ignored me had I been ugly to her. She still ended up rejecting me for being shorter than her…so 🤷‍♂️

Depends. Usually talk back for a few minutes. Give short answers back. Try and get the conversation to not flow. If he doesn't get the hint ill either say I need to get water or go toilet. Or if I am liking the spot I am in and do not want to leave I will jsut say sorry I am just going to go back to talking to this other person enjoy your night. And this is me being nice compared to most people. If it is very obvious someone is not vibing back just go away on own.

I was talking to four scruffy (fine just not ken dolls - obviously been working hard jobs all day) men in a returns line this afternoon. Didn't think about it. We were talking about all sorts of things for almost an hour. Only really thought they were scruffy when you asked this.

if it was simple friendliness etc then just polite acknowledgement/answers. we're probably off on our separate ways soon enough
