I was at the grocery store and ran into a couple of girls that were part of the same group of friends as me back in college and gave them all a hug and was just catching up with them for a bit to be cordial, i don’t really like them at all but i had to pretend to be friendly. So the girl that complimented me we had kinda been flirty back in the day but she usually had a boyfriend so I think she just liked the attention more than she ever was actually interested in me. I’m not attracted to her at all anymore so it actually was awkward and really did make me feel uncomfortable when she did compliment me cuz it was more in a flirty way than just her being nice. Both of her friends laughed super hard and she looked embarrassed/upset but i don’t feel like biting my tongue anymore about how i really feel 🤷‍♂️😂

I mean it would be amazing if we could all just tell each other that stuff straight up… but it does seem to create uncomfortable feels
