I don't think you will find many girls that will want to be with a selfish person. Of course, it takes a selfish one to get another selfish person.

Most will chose the kind person, regardless whether this person is shy or not. Shyness can be address where as selfishness will remain.

You want someone that you can trust and you never trust a selfish person because that person will put him/-herself before anyone else.

Thus, I will chose the overwhelming majority of women that will go for the kind person because I could trust a kind person with my life.

Of the two options I would take the first one but it is far from ideal. I'm very outgoing and social so someone that is shy and introverted is not going to be a good match for me. I'll take that over someone that has a selfish quality to them though. I just like confident people. That's why this is such a tough choice. I guess we could work on the shyness though. I'd rather be with someone that is kind as well. Confidence can be gained where someone that is selfish tends to stay that way.
