Firstly, remember that communication is key and should always be open and straightforward.
Secondly, casual sex isn't for everyone, and it's important to recognize if it starts to affect your mental health negatively! Ensure that all activities are consensual, use protection (have you considered IUD other than birth pills?), every 3-6 months undergo a sexual health screen (just for your own sake), meet whomever in safe, public places when getting to know new partners and let a trusted friend know where you will be and consider having a check-in time.
Thirdly, alcohol or other types of drugs can impair your judgment and reduce inhibitions, beware of the most trusted guy, cause even he can lead you on. Be cautious about sharing personal information like your home address as it can be misused. If you intend to go to bars/clubs to pick up boys, make sure to purchase one of those drink cover scrunchies, so you can cover your glass and avoid getting spiked.
Fourthly, listen to your instincts/gut feeling. If something feels off, it's okay to stop and leave. You’re never obligated to continue just because you showed initial interest. Remember to treat your partners with respect and expect the same in return.
Fifth, know the fact that all guys are dicks until proven otherwise.
Sixth, enjoy the “hoe” life and have no regrets 😉

I have never done a "hoe" phase as you call it. I just don't like the idea of random hookups and one night stands. That said you should be extra cautious. Physical health wise I would insist on a condom. Make sure you are on birth control as a backup or have plan b. My biggest concern would be my general safety. Unfortunately this isn't something you really take a friend along in case something goes wrong. That and someone can seem like a really nice guy and then turn out not to be. I would have pepper spray or something. I know that might sound a little extreme but better to have it and not have to use it than need it and not have it.
