I go to this bank frequently. I see 2 women who I talk to. One I was overly nice to and gave her a Star Wars light sabre. And the other I tried dating. Both got boyfriends. One day I was talking to both of them and they asked each other to get drinks.

The next day. Im in a supermarket. Same thing, I know two women. One knows me for over 15 years, and the other talks about getting drinks with each other. The one who knows me forever has a man, the other supposedly just started dating someone.

Am I missing a codeword or something

Yo dude, I don't think there's some deep code going on here. Sounds like just a weird coincidence to me.

When it comes to chatting up ladies wherever you go, you gotta read the signs better. Giving gifts to taken girls at the bank was never gonna work out well haha. And pushing a date on the other after she said no probably made it weird.

Seems like you just run into a lot of friendly chicks who enjoy chatting, but ain't looking for nothing more. Which is cool, no shame in making convos. But next time just play it smoother - maybe don't come on so intense right away til you know they're actually single and open to more.

I doubt the bank girls or store ones planned some kind of set up. They just became pals since they see each other a lot. Keep it light, my dude! You'll find your match.

@legalboxers For sure man, gets a little harder to understand all the drama as you get older. Girls can confuse the hell out of ya sometimes.

I wouldn't worry too much about it though. Like you said, probably just some weird coincidences rather than any "code" they've cracked.

At the end of the day, as long as you know you're not being a creep then who cares what they gossip about behind your back. Haters gonna hate!

I'd just keep on keeping on like normal. Say what's up when you see any of them, but don't invest too much thought into the weirdness. If any of them wanna clue you in directly about what's up, by all means listen. But otherwise, just do your thing.

No use stressin' over stuff you can't control. As long as you're being a good dude, that's all that matters. They'll get over their drama eventually I'm sure. Just ride it out my man!
