What does this girl's answer mean?

A few months ago I was talking to that girl, we had nice conversations, nice connection, and good vibe. I got the impression that she wanted me to ask her out, but instead of sayinf yes she said :" I will check my schduele and let you know...

It is behind me now... I never asked her about that anymore, but I wanted to ask you guys and girls, what did that mean?

Hmm that's a tough one bro. Based on my experience with girls, I think her response meant a few things:

- On one hand, she was probably into you if your conversations were good and she seemed interested in seeing where it could go.

- However, she may not have been totally sure if she was ready to commit to a date with you at that exact time for some reason. Maybe busy schedule or just getting to know you better first.

- By saying "it's behind me now" instead of following up, I'd guess she wasn't super excited about the date idea when it came down to it. But may have let you down easy.

- Also possible she just wasn't that into you and used her schedule as an excuse to decline without outright rejecting you.

My advice - try not to overthink it too much now. She didn't follow through so just take the hint she wasn't feeling it. Don't waste time waiting on someone who's not making you a priority too. On to the next one bro!

No problem dude! Dating can be rough sometimes but you'll bounce back from this no sweat. And hey, at least you put yourself out there and gave it a shot - that takes balls. Most guys wouldn't even ask, so props to you. Keep that confidence and it'll serve you well with the ladies. There are always more fish in the sea as they say. Maybe try asking someone new out, a fresh start could be just what you need. Worse thing they can say is no right? But they can't say yes if you don't take a chance. You'll get 'em next time!

She was politely declining your invitation.
"I'll check my schedule" bec maybe she didn't want to hurt your feelings in person by declining to your face, or shutting you down. She wanted to give you the impression she will consider it, and reach out if she is in fact interested.
It does lean toward the "I'm not interested" side of things though.

I did this recently and I’m not proud of it. Instead of just saying I wasn’t interested I said the same as that girl did and just never got back to him.
