I am sitting in cafe by the window, thinking about trivial things as I was just passed by a dozen of 19-20 year old college students, Looking fit and nice. And wow! I think guys look naturally their best at 20.

+1 yTo my eyes? I feel like my answer will get me some flak, lmao.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/jCNHXKF69wQ
It’s not so much age-specific as it’s FITNESS-specific. I don’t like to box it in like this, but if I HAD to declare a “type” on a physical, it’s “Instagram fitness model”😂 And that’s not me being swayed by internet pressure, I don’t even have Instagram, this pre-dates the internet altogether. One of my main celebrity crushes in high school was Kiana Tom from this exercise show called Kiana’s Flex Appeal…Still fine as hell, lmao.
But yeah, it’s more about maintaining that body type/level of fitness that attracts me visually. She can be 20 or she can be 55, if she looks like that, that’s my ideal “type.”
Problem is, most of us don’t look like that, and if we do look like that, it’s probably because we’re just barely grown-ups and have few responsibilities and ample time to spend in the gym. All the kids with the best physiques at my gym are there for hours on end. Then after 30 you see everyone else who has a life and and a job and a family and responsibilities, lucky to squeeze in 45 minutes, and then have to go home and eat Kraft Mac n Cheese with their six year old. That’s before we even get into metabolic changes.
So it’s not a fair fight, and I think that’s triggering to people. We’re all triggered by our own aging, we fear becoming older, less desirable, the nightmare is being “replaced” by someone younger and hotter…. and I feel like we let that affect our should-be unbiased assessments, and we try to defensively demonize the idea of dating people significantly younger to shame each other into compliance and protect our own interests in the dating world. Sorry if that’s harsh, but that’s what I’m seeing.
My girlfriend is always hedging things when we watch TV, lmao, like we watch Cobra Kai and there’s one of the kids on there that she’ll say, “I would’ve been into him when I was younger”, and I’m just “BULLSHIT”, lmao. The kid is like 24 years old, he’s a grown man, just say you think he’s hot and don’t feel bad about it. Don’t add qualifiers, just be honest. Let’s make it easy on ourselves and just acknowledge that people in their 20s are usually at their hottest, and that’s going to be apparent to us whether we’re 9 or we’re 90. Doesn’t mean you’d date them in reality, but it’s gonna be a looooonnnnnggggggg life if we can’t all just be comfortable for life acknowledging that hot people are hot without fear of judgement.
It’s ok to think people outside of your age range are hot as long as they’re adults, just breathe, you guys😂 I see Ariana Grande or Selena Gomez and I can’t get into them because they still look 14 to me, even now that they’ve hit 30. Meanwhile, I just saw some singer on my YouTube feed named Tyla, I have no idea how old she is, but she might be one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen, holy smokes. I assume she’s 20-something, but am I supposed to pretend and be like “ewww, too young!” She’s probably too young to date, for sure, but no adult is too young to acknowledge that they’re objectively attractive, I think that’s a crazy societal standard.
Anyway, but of a tangent/rant, but I say that to preface that I don’t have a specific age range I find most attractive, I just find most women who are the brand of attractive that I like best happen to be much younger than me, just due to lifestyle differences that permit the level of work required to maintain such a body. That renders most of them undateable, but they’ll always be easy to look at. But if you’re pulling that off at 50, come holler at me, it’s not about the age at all.

u +1 yI'm still as fit... as I was in my early 20's, but yes... definitely "easier" to be as active back then, I wouldn't even think about it nor work on it, lol
as for women... most of the things that I really feel attracted to in women, do not really depend on the age, and it doesn't make a substantial difference... not for me to focus at an specific limited range20 Reply
+1 ySince I was 13, I have been more intensely attracted to men in their 20s. I think it's going to continue for my whole life.
Most of these men look like pretty boys when they're 20, which isn't my favourite look.
Their prime years are 20s, especially mid and late 20s. Sorry men! You also look your best in your 20s, at least to women like me who aren't interested in your money and care more about attraction.

+1 ySame age as me up to 30. Won't go any higher. But I look for someone who naturally looks young in genetics, since I also look younger than my age. I mean, if I date a man, I want him to look like he's my boyfriend. Not have him be mistaken for my dad.

20 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. In terms of pure sexuality, probably 18-22. But thankfully one does not date on that basis.
Like someone can be hot and then they open their mouth, and then that is finished pretty quickly.

Yeah, I know that. I’ve noticed over the years you have mostly communicated with that age range on GaG.
307 opinions shared on Dating topic. I do agree that men look best in their early to late 20s. After that we bulk up and not in an appealing manner 🤣.
For girls, I think late 20s to early 30s maybe 🤔. But that depends as well. Most women age horribly 🤣. So younger = prettier.

Girls look best in their early 20s. This was proven with research
It really depends on the person. I have seen attractive teens and attractive middle-aged women. Some "hot" girls I went to high school with didn't look at all good twenty years later. Some I didn't notice in high school blossomed and looked great at our 20-year reunion. But in genera, l I would say late teens to mid 30s women look the best.
10 ReplyThis may make me look and sound basic, but personally, I'm most attracted to people who are the same age group as me, meaning in their early twenties. Preferably the same age as I am, give or take 1-2 years, not more

+1 y20s n 30s are, on avg, more fit, more energy, more curiosity, more adventurous and that would overrule my eyes AFTER her looks got my attention. Just the same, women in their 40s are experienced, bold, uninhibited and when they look hot get even more if my attention simply because they are older and still look haf.
00 Reply Definitely early to mid 20s, for men. Except for some rare exceptions.

m +1 yI tend to go of those I’m attracted to based on things like intelligence, sense humour, sense of fun, fitness, how they act. That shoved together sort of decides if a girl appeals to me. Compatibility is also key.

+1 yAge doesn't matter that much too me. Within reason that is. Things I use to look for...
1. Character... does she lie and cheat
2. Friendliness
3. Is she interested in me
4. How does she treat others10 Reply - 1.1K opinions shared on Dating topic.

@ManOnFire lol alright well its usually dark haired dark eyed chicks with shoulder length or longer hair and usually a higher pitched voice. those tend to attract me the most in my life.
but there's been times where i was attracted to blonde chicks too so it depends sometimes lol

+1 yJust going by looks alone I would say between 20 and 60 depending on the woman. Femininity plays a major factor my favorite is a woman who wears makeup , high heels and keeps her nails long and painted or french tips.
