People don't date seriously at 19-20 years old , right?

Question

If you're 27 and you got a girl who's 19 and she wants to start a relationship with you.. what should you expect? most likely it's gonna be short lived or just a fling for her , right? as far as I know when you're 19-20 you're dating for pure fun and your " type " is constantly changing , am I correct? I like her tho , and I haven't instantly clicked with a girl that much in a long time.. but I still can't take it seriously because of the stuff I've mentioned..

If you like her and she likes you , than go for it , don’t worry about other peoples’ experiences , not everyone has the same experiences when it comes to a relationship with someone , Age really doesn’t mean shit , when you meet someone that has great chemistry and connection with you Most younger girls’ love older guys’ so if she is showing interest in you and you are attracted not her and like spending time with her , you are best to go for it and enjoy each others time together , don’t worry about the future of what could possibly happen , because most times that isn’t true all that matters is your happy and she is happy being with each other. I date younger girls and older girls’ Age doesn’t really matter when it comes to liking each other , Some of the older girls’ I have dated were less mature than some of the younger girls’ I dated , so don’t worry about age so much , when it comes to sharing a lot in common with someone , that wants you like you want them, Chemistry and connection is what’s most important when it comes to relationships

Well, I didn't date at all when I was at that age. I've never really dated "properly" anywaay. Went out with a girl once at 16, we were both too shy so it was awkward and she just hated me afterwards. Went out with another girl for one date about a year later, same deal there except it ended on good terms, and then I met her at a music store, after which we shared a hug.

Come to think of it, I actually hung out with a girl in the kitchen/communal area at my college dorm a couple of times in 2019. But I had turned 21 by then, not 20 lol.

That’s not true at all… in fact, several couples I know who met in school would have been 19(ish) when they met and started dating. Others would have experienced a possible first love that (though it didn’t last) left an eternal imprint on their hearts because the first love tends to be intense.
This isn’t always the case, but it’s wrong to assume that no one that age is ever dating seriously.

I got married at 20 to someone I had known since we were 14. It's possible it's on her mind.

Never assume serious questions in a relationship. Conversation is a good thing because you are not a mind reader.

Some do. I certainly did. I have never dated for fun, only for marriage. I know several people I went to school with who’s already been with their husbands/wives (yes, they’re married) for 7-10 years, has kids and seem happy.

Personally I don't recommend it, age gap should be around 3-4 years, not more than that. She's basically a teenager.

It’s better to get to know someone than judged them just because of their age. I’ve always dated all my exes seriously no matter what I am. So no, I don’t think this applied for everyone.

You are probably right about that. I was 22 and dated someone who was 17 for a while until she dumped me and went back with her old boyfriend. I wanted a serious relationship and she just wanted to have fun.
