She would be out there and talk to people in her extroverted times, but also withdraw as soon as she senses bad memories of e. g. her last relationship or such. And he would keep his distance from her as long as she wants to have fun and feel good, mostly be there for her if she seems like she needs someone to talk to or needs to be cheered up or supported in any way.

I tend to think of “down” as a mood, not associated with introversion at all.
As an introvert, i can’t recharge around people i’m not completely comfortable with. So it’s important that people who want to develop and maintain a relationship with an introvert to allow the introvert to control their time together, and to some extent apart. Take her cues. Ask her to be honest with you about her social battery and provide a completely safe space for her to be completely honest. Then basically do as you’re asked. It’s fair to frequently reassess if your own needs are being met, and when the time is right discuss it with them. Loving an introvert can be difficult. Most self aware introverts know that. Some of us are deeply sorry for it. But you’ll never know it unless you get the key to the battery room.
What are u telling? He’s there for her when she’s alone or not?
Yeah alone, but only in public and for a short while.
Sounds fine to me. But what’s the reason not in public. ? Embarrassed of her?
I mean she would otherwise be at home if she would really want to be alone, in public it would be a short break from socializing.
