Cheaters are scumbags that know exactly what they're doing, but were willing to take the risk of their partner finding out and hurting them because they didn't care enough in the first place. That's not love. If you truly love someone, you would never jeopardize it. Never let them manipulate you into getting back together. If they cheated once, they're desensitized to that feeling of cheating and are likely able to do it again. Thus the saying:

"Once a cheater, always a cheater."
