Social media or not?

Would it be a discriminant for you if your potential date has or not a social media profile? Why?
Would you reject a guy/girl who doesn’t use social media?

In my personal opinion, a person without social media would be a more trusting person since social media give too many opportunities for cheating. But, on the other side, you have to rely only on his/her word about his/her life since you have nothing to verify.

I think for most girls/guys, they wants some validation from others that you're not a weirdo stalker. If you got a social life and can act and behave among people and have friends and a social media does shows that in a way.

And when social platform like Crapbook/TwittCrap/CrapTok, is kiiinda the "norm" these days, it already there is a red flag for many.

That's a risk she has to take if she doesn't get any validation already from a digital social life from you.
And many girls always takes safe than sorry. PLUS in online-datingworld it's a simple click and there's another guy/contender who has a social life.

A simple red flag is a simple click away for many girls.

But a digital social life can also be a total lie too, no one assures you’re faking it all.
And the rest you’re saying is true, with online connections there’s too much choice for girls (in that case) so they just swipe away and there’s ready a more fitting guy next.

A lie is always better than 'nothing'. And validate nothing is more scarier than, well.. a maybe a lie.

OF, unsure how and what kind of person puts a fake social life? I mean, who got the energy for that? Are they all just bots-profiles? .. maan..

A lie can be better than nothing? Trust has to be the basis for a relationship… how can’t you trust so much that you need verification?

I know cases of people faking a life of luxury and hiding secret relationships via social media. This wouldn’t be possible without them.

But if we're talking about the girl's perspective, and when your topic is about why she's ghosting, is coz nothing is worse than (what she doesn't think) a lie.

Yes, that's what happened. It happened also immediately after I told them, that I don't do social media.

One more thing. I invited girls to the beach with me. Only 2 came with me, however, both were my coworkers.
Girls really prefer to sit at home and scroll instagram/tik tok on hot summer days.

Quite an invisible "dystopia" of some sort. We made machine to ease up life and work for us. Then some created the type of software, that makes humans "slaves to the machines" or rather that software so to speak.

We will get doomed by all technology we’re putting our lives on. Machines should be used only to help humans, they shouldn’t substitute us or for controlling us.

I know how to hold a mutually beneficial relationship with technologies and machines. Can't say that for AI yet.
