Guys, do you like to do small talks with your partner for hours or have deep meaningful talks with your partner?
It depends. Both can become annoying pretty fast if you're dealing with a retard or someone that has mental issues. Mental issues will usually opt for the "meaningful talks" but they make it really not that meaningful due to their preoccupation with themselves. Basically, it can start to feel like you're talking to someone who's not really listening. Intelligent people can make small talk fun and interesting... but on the opposite end, the shallow end of the pool (where the retards are), you'll find yourself going through repetitive routines, hearing the same quips over and over, and it just gets old.
I'm not saying a dumb partner is 100% a bad one... but it will be pretty bad if they're demanding a lot of attention, or want to be in the middle of everything like a lost wondering child that needs a friend.
Banter is nice. Talking about interests and future plans is nice. Small talk leads to that pretty quickly, so it's fine.
But girls need to stop this stupid idea that they need to get someone to "open up" and focus on negative thoughts for twenty minutes. Focusing on the negative amplifies them, and most people aren't closeted basket cases, so knock it off and grow up.
If a guy shares with you about his values, dreams, and fond memories, you know him well. Stop trying to get him to cry on your shoulder.
You can have a deep meaningful conversation but if you are the one they just won’t care so
Talk about whatever, if he sticks around or not, there you go
The one who has cleavage. 🤣

Both.
Occasionally I just feel like going on a lunch date with my girl and chatting about news, gossip, and small talk for hours. Make jokes, have a laugh, and keep it light-hearted and relaxed.
But most times, I want to have meaningful discussions about each other and make deep, personal connections by sharing private things in our lives.
there's a time for both... and many in between
I prefer someone that can do it most, or all... and not just one or the other the whole time, lol
A mix of both.
Depends on the conversation and my mood I guess. I'm not a big conversationalist first thing after waking up. But I do like to have meaningful and stimulating conversation with others it promotes understanding, growth and development.
I think it depends on how far we are to knowing each other. If we just met then small talk is good. But if we are maybe a week along then meaningful sometimes. Small talk is good to know their background like hobbies they like and family members and so on. Meaningful is for knowing their boundaries, limits, personal life wants, etc.
I've never been into small talk in general. It bores the shit out of me. I basically skip that part of conversations whenever I can.
Small talk is as important as what you might call meaningful talk. Small talk is where the subtle ques are dropped that the partner should be picking up on. If there is no small talk then you are missing out on and forcing your partner to miss out on important conversation.
Women have a harder time balancing it. Some are all fluff and no real stuff. Others are too serious.
I prefer 75% serious and 25% small talk. Overall I díslike too much meaningless chatter but some small talk is fine occasionally.
Small talk / meaningful.
Why settle for one when we can have both?
Also small talk can be meaningful if it segways to it in a natural flowing way
Usually meaningful after getting to know someone.
I only ''talk'' with women when they have something to say - that comes from something they think.
Meaningless conversation is only tolerated for a few minutes.
I don't really care for small talk with anyone
I didn't even know that it was possible to have small talk for hours. I prefer the deep meaningful chats.
meaningful definitely, small talk is of low value and interest.
Both. I have a 160 IQ and want a chesty, intelligent woman.
I don't like women who talk so much and unnecessary.
I like girls who are skilled in both and can transition between the two
Meaningful for sure. But small talks are good every now and then to break the ice.
It depends, the one I'm best with
Small talk is so BORING. I can't stand it.
Nothing wrong with both at the right times
Definitely women who do meaningful talks
😆😆😆
