I was asked out by this super handsome man, he was traveling from Europe to Shanghai for a shooting, we talked about music, life and bonded over lots of things, he asked me if he could take me out on a dinner before he left…

I didn’t answer him as I am awful at texting and my attention span doesn’t last for more than 2 days unless I am super into someone. Plus, I thought why go out with him if he leaves soon.

Later on, I found out he’s a celebrity. Hehe.

Glad I didn’t go, but would be a fun experience I think.

Funny thing is I am super self-conscious, I have birthmarks on my face - on my temples - even though make up and hair covers them, I am still conscious about them and 5 years ago was even super anxious to go on a date and now I am being asked out by the people I could not even dream of going on dates with before…

Nothing like that, although I have picked up celebrities in the Taxi I didn't recognise. It's only when they say something like "Aren't you going to ask for my autograph?" That I realise, or sometimes even then I don't.

My usual response was, "Most of the celebs I pick up hate being treated differently, they like being able to relax and be themselves, so I treat them as normal everyday people" That always goes down well

They were celebrities in other countries. The first was a Turkish model who was also a weather girl in TV and had gone back to school to change careers. She had over a million IG followers. I got her a job interview with a client of mine and she was so appreciative that she asked me out. Then I met a Japanese actress who was in town filming. I asked her out and then I found out she was a celebrity in Japan

No, women typically don’t ask man out. And typically women celebrities are highly popularized and get millions of simps sliding in their DMs and such they will never have to ask. Which is good I don’t simp after any female, especially female celebrities. But that’s the power they yield over some men.
