Here's the scenario.
You first meet a girl at university. A few years after graduation, the both of you begin working for the same company. You notice she's a bit more friendly than the others. Makes it a point to be the first person to say 'hello' to you every day you arrive at work. You think nothing of it. Perhaps she's just more friendly than others. Months pass and you take a new job at a different company. A year later you learn from your past coworkers that this particular girl had/has a crush on you. You're shocked because you never thought much of her behavior. She never made her interests known. Looking back if you knew about this, you'd would not only totally do her, but take out for dinner - spend time with her. (I don't do cafe dates!) Fast forward a decade later you learn that she named her first born after you. Her child's first name is your last name and the kid's middle name is your first name. And the kid's last name is not even the father's last name.
With that said, how would you feel or react to this? Honored? Shocked? (by the way, this is a real scenario. And I learned about this just tonight.)
