On dating apps it's usually more like a modern meat market than anything else so how does one stand out?

It’s all about the way a guy expresses and comports himself. There are SO MANY crass guys, SO MANY awkward “buttoned up” guys, and of course so many egocentric/selfish guys… that when a guy shows that special balance of courtesy, compassion, courage and chivalry in both his words and deeds it’s just about enough to melt a girl’s heart.

“Where there’s a will there’s a way.” Is a great motto to start off with.

Courteous communication is a big deal. Women don’t get a lot of it nowadays, which is why (as we see on g@g) every little kind gesture is suddenly assessed as something SUPER meaningful when it’s just common courtesy from one fellow who was properly raised and taught to communicate respectfully.

Compassion and chivalry are easily conveyed through chats… it’s all about the words you use…. And when it’s time to meet the girl it’ll be about whether your actions line up with your words.

Courage is partially putting yourself out there…

I forgot “Conviction” (the ability to stick to something and finish what you start).
