Our society is not to the point where blacks and whites are completely mixed together. It's still highly segregated. Most white guys don't even meet many black girls.

This is changing though. I'm a white guy and I've never dated a black woman. There are very few that I've known. But there was a black girl I met in college who was one of the top 2-3 regrets of someone I didn't date, but wish I did.

That was in the mid-80s. A white guy with a black chick just didn't happen then. Like never. Although it is still uncommon, it is far more common than it was 30-40 years ago.

Things change slowly, but they do change. If there is a white guy you like, make a move. Don't wait for society to catch up, take the lead.

I had a dark-skinned coworker gal ask me to lunch once close to 50 years ago.
I accepted and we had a nice time.
She wanted more than just some good fried chicken and sides, though.
I didn't feel the same way, but she was nice to spend some time with.
We stayed friends during the time we still worked at the same building.

If she had lit my fire in the way that I apparently lit hers, there'd have been some body mingling going on, no doubt.

There're plenty of darker-skinned gals that would and do light my fire, but she just wasn't one of them.

I'm a white guy who has dated a black woman and had the pleasure (and I DO mean pleasure genuinely) of knowing many black women.

In my experience, many black women aren't particularly receptive to dating white men, and culturally, there does seem to be a certain hostility to the idea. In America, that hostility is very understandable.

Black women have had to put up with a lot, and that element of their experience often leads them to have more forceful and aggressive personalities than other women. I think a lot of men are turned off by the idea of dealing with someone like that.

answering that will be quite impossible without insulting anyone. but the straight up non offensive answer is: cause on average black girls are lower socio economic value. i mean if you asked 100 people to tell you what's the first image is in their head when they think of black woman, most will think of a black single mom who's baby daddy is in prison. like not saying that's true for all of them or that this is a "good and fair representation". but that's the stereotype and if you took a good hard and honest look at society, that's probably not a tiny minority of black women. and that's why they aren't favored.

Personally I just don't feel attraction, its not a mental thing its just the lack of a physical turn on in my body. I assume its because my body is wired to consider similarly looking people compatible. If it was up to me i'd find any race sexually attractive because then my dating pool is broader.

I'm not being racist, but it's just a fact that black girls tend to be the least sought after race when it comes to women.

I can't tell you from a white guy's perspective as I'm not white myself, but I think it's what we associate to their race generally in terms of behaviour and personality. Also in terms of appearance, to me they're not the most attractive usually.

Hair (don't like short hair on other types of women either), voice tone, attitude (most are liberal and the majority of White men are conservative so they are morally incapable), too many bad experiences with racism against Whites from Black women (it is much more common than from Black men from what I have seen).

I feel that's a misconception, there are many white men dating and married to black women. I find black women to be very attractive and enticing. So that idea of white guys not liking black girls is just not true as a whole for the majority of men, there will always be prejudice for some people between the races. but that is shrinking as society progresses and we open ourselves to new possibilities and disregard old biases.

I like thin girls and I am deeply attracted to thin black girls. I don't know why obesity is so common in the black population but I have a few guesses and none of them are complimentary of the rich white racists who control all the food.

There’s some who do. But honestly I think it’s just not white dudes as well who don’t like black chicks. I know a lot of Hispanic men who don’t like them, but a handful who do. Just the same as Native Americans.

It could be any of a variety of factors; plain racism, lack of hygiene, ghetto culture, broad jaw/nose, trashy looks, obesity, etc.

Mostly the same reasons as why black NFL players also prefer non-black women.
