Is there anyone here who won't date people your own age and if so, what is your reasoning and would you only date people older or younger?

When I was younger I liked men about ten years older. I guess I thought they seemed more manly and protective and as a young woman your looking for a man to have a family with.

As an older lady now with a family already done I prefer younger men because they match me more on my energy levels and I just feel they are more clued up and have more style.

I would like a guy my age tho too. He just has to be in same boat as me. Much younger of mind and energy than age. And looking to enjoy life not spend it sat in front of the TV every evening.

Would you date an OMEGA?

OMEGA men, and even OMEGA women, are, essentially, perfect people. They weren't always perfect, but, at this point, they've matured, and basically have all the experience they need in life, to function properly. However, because they've aged, they're now considered old, and "out of date", likely, to not be serviced, ever again (leaving them vulnerable), especially if it's not being used anymore.

So, while the first part SOUNDS good, the second part, makes it sound scary. Would you still date this sort of man/woman?

Think of Windows 98, the last truly good OS. It's tech. an omega because while it's bug free, and "perfect" now, because noone is likely using it, it's left vulnerable, as it's not being "service" anymore, and isn't being updated, since noones turning computers on with windows 98 on it, anymore

Would you "date" windows 98?

my first girlfriend was same age as me... all others were a bit younger, but no more than four years difference

it wasn't a choice though... they just happened to be younger, and I also met older women, by two, six, and even ten years older than me but, I just didn't happen to end up with them

I'd love to date guys my own age. It's so hard to find guys my age though, now that I'm not in school. So I wind up dating guys way older.

I tend to date, relationships my age and a bit younger and also a bit older. At university, I dated a girl my age and then a relationship with a girl who was older by a few years. It’s more about getting an emotional connection with that person.

For the most part. Why? Because most women my age are kind of gross looking. It's not set in stone though.

I wouldn't. I would only date younger. I want kids and 40 is when women should stop having kids.
