Do girls expect to be kissed on a first date?

Imagine the date goes relatively well. You're attracted to each other, laughing, having fun, and enjoying each other's company. You've texted each other for a few days and/or have talked on the phone a couple of times and have some chemistry. Would the girl want the guy to kiss her by leaning in or ask her for a kiss on the first date? Or would the girl want the guy to wait a little?

The reason I ask is because I'm not a guy that wants to kiss on the first date. A hug is fine but not a kiss on the lips as I'd want to get to know the girl more and make sure this is someone I'd want to be in a relationship with.

No, I would say that a great majority of girls don't like to be kissed on the first date because the first date is basically a "get to know each other" date where nothing of the sort should happen.

People tend to hide things about themselves. Who will admit to the date that he/she has a criminal record, that he/she was the one that severed the previous relation because he/she was toxic, that he/she has an addiction? Nobody will reveal those things because you know that if you do, the date is over before it even started.

I am aware that mostly men will want to give a kiss because they hope in secret that there will be more than just a kiss and that this kiss will allow them to go into the victim's pants.

I would say that I don't believe girls and women expect to be kissed on the first date. I nice solid hug is great if you like each other. Most people are or used to like getting a little hug. No hand shakes though.
Or you could take her hands and gently hold her hands a little bit and a kiss on the cheek maybe. You can usually tell if someone likes you and wouldn't mind that.

But if she is big on feminists behavior then touching her at all is taking a big chance.

Hanging out for a few years is a much more effective way to get to know someone, never use a date for that.

Instead, date after you've already decided you love and trust eachother.

Man.. you never hug to a woman, you pull her by the waist and kiss. You don't necessarily have to kiss her by the lips.. but If you at least gently touch her back and kiss her right on the cheek.. that gonna be masculine.

Also there isn't a rule like you should kiss her by the lips on first date.. this depends on the girl and the vibe, however giving her a "friendly hug" is no no.. are you trying to be her friend or get her? Choose one.. and act like it.

You should 100% go in for a kiss on the first date it will tell you everything you need to know. If she refuses, move on to the next girl. If it's a peck on the cheek, put her to the back burner and keep her in the friends zone. If it's a real kiss then you know she likes you and keep going until she pulls away or you end up going all the way. It's pretty simple.
