I recently met her, but my Instagram search history is from before that. She saw it when I was adding her, and now I'm worried it will affect things.

If she brings it up, just play it cool. You could say something like "Oh yeah, I was just bored scrolling through posts sometimes. Not really searching for any one person."

Downplay it as not a big deal. Don't apologize or act too defensive, or it will seem suspicious. Change the subject to talking to her instead if you can.

Over time she'll see you're interested in her, not other girls, so past search history shouldn't matter. Just focus on getting to know each other now.
