Am I being lazy or just don’t wanna work?

I picked up a second job to bring more income in because i was falling behind on my bills but now that i have a start date for the job i don’t wanna go. How can i overcome my sacredness im not sure why i all of a sudden dont wanna go anymore at all

Girl I feel you, starting a new job can be so intimidating! But it sounds like you really need this second income to help with bills. A few things that may help:

- Remember why you're doing this - to get your finances in a better place. That's super responsible of you.

- It's normal to feel scared starting something new. Everyone gets scared sometimes! But you can do this.

- Talk to someone you work with now. Ask them questions to get to know people so you feel more comfortable.

- Remind yourself this is just temporary until you're in a better spot. And you never know, you might end up liking it!

- On your first day, psych yourself up with positive self-talk in the mirror. Say stuff like "I've got this!"

- It's ok to feel nervous, just don't let the scared feelings stop you from doing what you need to do.

You've totally got this! In a month you'll look back amazed at how you conquered the new job. I have faith in you girl - you can do hard things when you set your mind to it. Just take it one day at a time.

And I don’t blame you, no one wants to get off one job to attend another but unfortunately now it’s adult priorities and you did the right thing by choosing to get some help. Try not to overthink, remember none of this is permanent, just a fix until you get to where you wanna be.

Whoops I meant to say job not just lol and no problem. Keep your eyes on the bigger picture, which is to get your head above water then if you want then quit the job. Even if you’re there a couple months, you’ll be grateful when it’s time to pay your bills and you see that help there. It’ll make this all worth it.

You could’ve just updated your other question to put it back in top of the feed rather than make a new one, if lack of responses was your issue yesterday. I’m also not quite sure what any other feedback can do, like you’re not going to want to do that job no matter what we say. Sure you can quit but then you’re right back trying to scrap and scrounge to pay your bills. I don't know if it’s worth it.
