He lied about drinking red flag? ?

My boyfriend and I been together for 13 years tomorrow is our anniversary. Is been and up and down relationship and for him to be lying about certain things bothers me a lot. He knows I rather know the truth than to be lied to my face.
We usually hang out on the weekend but this weekend and the last one he had to work Saturdays from 6-3. So we decided to get a hotel from Friday to Monday anyways he came back from work and I was really in a good mood and happy that he didn’t get out late. As I was laying down while he wa talking to me he goes on and tells me how his coworker and him had a taco truck just for them bc his boss payed lunch for them. Cool. But his breath smelled like beer or some sort of alcohol. I let it slide at the moment because we took a nap then I woke him up and had sex. I told him my stomach was bothering and I go and ask him did you drink today? He said no.

I told him are you sure there no alcohol in your system right now? He said no ( confused as if I’m wrong ). I said so if I go get a test will you pass. I wanted to see his reaction and he was confused and said “ you was just mentioning how your stomach was bothering and now you ask me this “

as in I was in the wrong. I told him I actually wanted to ask him earlier but I didn’t. So we went on and on for about 7 mins until he finally said okay yes one beer. Which I’m not going to believe that it was just one after he lied. I told him why can’t you just tell me the truth and he said I just didn’t want say it. I told him well you messing with my trust and this why I get bothered and can’t trust you because you are the only one making this difficult for us and can’t be honest. I also made it be known that I wasn’t bothered that he has alcohol but the issue is that he hide it from me. I kicked him out and he called me a bitch and acted like I was wrong.
