I like it when women ask me out. It feels empowering to be on the side where I can choose those who have already chosen me and I don't feel the weight of wasting more of my time and emotions.

Yes I would. In fact I prefer it because I don't like being approached by so many men. By me approaching, I'm acknowledging that love is about preference and that man is my preferred look so far. And now let's see if there is chemistry by asking him out.

No I don't have the assertiveness and I want a man who is resilient and can handle rejection and gives me the power to choose who chooses me.

Well what I like to do when i think about dating is to practice self awareness. Obviously we want to feel equal in all the ways positive but more importantly the niche differences. I won't compromise one for the other. So if I see a girl who I think I feel evenly matched with, I'd like to approach. The reason for why people fail in dating is they try approach someone who has more qualities that are better than our or that don't have our niche differences. It doesn't work.

I've literally seen a 54 year old woman who weighed 300 lbs say she wants a man with 130 iq, etc

But what percent of men like that would date a woman past her fertile years and is overweight. She'd rather be single than not have this ideal man. To each their own, but it hurts us men to see this. It's like no one wants what they are.
