first thing i notice is their looks, do they take pride in their appearance, not overdoing the make-up, wearing decent cloths and not sweats, are they fit or overweight, are they wearing clean wrinkle free cloths? Then their personality followed by how they treat you and interact with others. Their intellect and sense of humor as well as being a good conversationalist. Their interest and views on everyday life and the world at large. All this contributes to how attractive a person is. IMHO

Well if I knew that exactly I could control who I was attracted to.

Generally though it's a mixture of her personality, her demeanor, her attractiveness as determined by me, and the amount of effort she puts forth toward me. Because while I can like a woman unless she puts forth genuine effort towards me and and shows genuine interest it simply doesn't trigger attraction towards her (genuine being the key word. Any flirtatious slag can manipulate a guy, but she'll never have that guy).😆

Eh... I know it when I see it. It isn't always just how they look but how they act, speak, and their personality in general. So I'm not always after the hottest guys but I sure as hell ain't going for no ugly guy.

They say a lot comes from childhood and your parents. Women love guys that remind them of their dad. Guys like the mother thing…I don’t know…there’s deeper stuff like scents from childhood, etc.

You could argue that a rejection from a girl isn’t your fault…it’s you not matching her childhood.
