What would You choose to do for the first date?

If You were to take me to a date, what choices would we discuss to do? And where would we go?

A first date is only a meeting about knowing each other and nothing more. What a first date is NOT, is a meeting to start kissing or to get into the person's pants. Any such attempts would automatically mean the end of the meeting and there would be no subsequent meeting.

If I was forced to go on a date, then it would be during daytime in a public place where there are is a crowd in order to have a minimum of safety, just in case the opponent attempts any of the actions I mentioned in the first paragraph.

A first date is only made to get acquainted and thus, the questions to ask would be about that person's interests, the likes and dislikes and hopefully to obtain honest answers to those questions.

Based on the answers received, it would have to be decided whether there would be a second date or not. Most likely, there will not be another date because people tend to hide about certain facts about them or to twist the truth.

I totally get Chu! These people that does the “one-night stands” or “looking for lay” these aren’t real daters, these are just for the sauce ngl. I am glad to see that we think alike. Unfortunately nowadays, people don't look beyond the shell of the looks. They may find the looks very appealing but what is hidden beyond the outer shell is much more important. Character and personality are really the 2 things that I would go for. If I get a positive feedback from my instinct about those 2 assets, then I would be willing to try out a 2nd. date but I must first be convinced that the person is not lying to me or hiding important life facts.

First and usually second meetings are "get to know you" things so I always do something simple. After that come the trips to Catalina and dinners at Pelican Hill.

Thanks, I usually go with a local Italian restaurant. It is fancier than Olive Garden, but not like a Michelin Star restaurant. Right in that sweet spot of not too fancy and not too common.
