I mean for me yes. It’s not that I want to use a woman for money but I certainly wouldn’t turn one down over it either. Unless she’s like a feminist. No thanks.

I never really understood this. But you know what? Everyone is different and we are all looking for different things. Just because they don’t want you romantically does not mean they dislike you as a human being. Not all of us are compatible.

Personally I want a woman to NEED me because she loves me. Because she needs love and affection. A lot of times men who marry a woman who isn’t in love with them and doesn't need them because of how much they love them. They get cheated on and either if something happens to the man and he isn’t able to provide anymore OR…. She finds better. She will leave him.

Not by the career itself, but the ego that comes with it. Women that have successful (high income, high social status) careers tend to only go for men that are more successful than themselves. Women tend to date up, and men tend to date down. It's NOT ALWAYS the case, but I see this hapenning in most cases. There are women out there that don't judge men based on their career, but I would say they're in the minority.

I can imagine some reasons, let's create a fictional John Wow: John wants the career, wealth, and attributes of social success, he wants them because John wishes to shine on the stage, wants all women to fall for him and all men recognize his value, he maybe even wants to be POTUS, who knows where his ambitions will stop. He his the player of a solo game, the outside world is a tool, you, me, a tree or a fish are tools to use, tools to maximize profit and minimize losses. According to his worldviews, a woman is a tool like everything else, she can be threatening, if she bears too many attributes of social success, that may cast a shadow, a shadow that is incompatible with John's ambitions on the stage.

Yep, while a guy will be happy with a woman who works at McDonald's. Kind of makes us men feel like a lot of women are money obsessed and that is a huuuuuuge turn off.

Not if she's hot. Women are generally turned off by men who make less than them. So a successful woman has to find a man who's at least as successful or more successful.

The majority of men don't care about how much a woman earns but rather how much she spends. A frugal woman who earns little money will usually be way more attractive than a rich woman who spends more than she earns.
