Do men really like being called “Daddy”?

And if so, WHY? i cannot get behind the whole calling my boyfriend “daddy”, but he keeps on hinting at wanting to be called it. I guess if i had an insight as to why, i might be able to. I don’t want to ask him directly though. I don’t want him to think i don’t want to and that’s why i’m asking. I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY without asking him. So, men… why DO YOU like it? The first time I had a girl called me that I just kind of looked at her like what?

I told her it just felt really weird for doing that because all I have is one daughter and she's the only person that's ever called me that and it's just feels weird a girl calling me that... When all I can associate with is my daughter and I really didn't like it.

He explained to me that she didn't have a dad and that it's more like a dominant or protector and I said. Ok

But it just felt weird. And I still didn't really like. It. . One day I asked my daughter what she thought about girls calling guys Daddy and she said it's not a big deal it's because they're in love and she said it's a kink. And I didn't want to hear that come out of her mouth but it did.

Then one morning leaving for work my girlfriend has spent tonight and she left like 5 minutes before me. I went about a block and a half and I could see her at a stop sign there's a car behind her and there's some guy with his hands waving in the air look like he was yelling at her and I pulled up behind him and he didn't see me and he was calling my girlfriend names I said hey dude what are you doing and he said this effing bitch didn't go when she was supposed to and I ran in the back of her I said you're ready to stop sign... I said you don't go until after she goes right. He said well she should have went
And I started laughing I said no you should have not gone until she left... Can you call their bitch again cuz she said something. I said bro don't call her names and he asked me what are you her daddy or something I said as a matter of fact I am. And she looked at me at the same time I looked at her and we both smiled. And I said yeah don't call my daughter a bitch you're at fault here. And then a police car pulls up and everything was taken care of but it was kind of funny. And she gave me a hug and said see this is what reason why I call you Daddy because you're there for me.

I still kind of felt weird about the whole thing but after a while I got used to it...

And even though we're not together anymore I've seen her a few times and she's called me Daddy like at the store and it's just kind of funny.

So at first I didn't really care for it now it's not that big of a deal when I do hear it I've had another girlfriend that called me Daddy too and I understood why but it is what it is I guess I'm not really for sure why I like it or if I like it it's still new to me kind of even though it's been many years but just about every girl I've dated it's called me that I must be old damn lol

I personally like it. I've never really associated it with being an actual dad, because obviously I'm not. It's more so about addressing me using a dominant term. Girls that say it are usually highly submissive and open minded, which I prefer.

Just based on my observation as well, girls that tend to use daddy are less uptight and more open minded, both in general and in the bedroom. It's not that serious and if it turns the guy on what's the big deal? 😂

I can't speak for other men, but personally I don't like being called "daddy." When I hear it I think my parents who drive me up a wall, so it's a big no no for me.

For you and your boyfriend I totally understand not wanting to ask him directly, but I would highly recommend that you ask him. It's better to handle it one way or another than to sidestep a potential sexual issue/difference.

Just ask him why he wants you to call him that and tell him that you're willing to try it for him, but it doesn't seem natural to you at the moment.

Yes a lot of men do. But a lot of men don’t as well. I prefer being called Papi lol it’s not really a term as in she’s calling him her dad. It’s a word used in a dominant way.
