Getting Ghosted? Why would a guy ghost a girl after having a great connection and having a lot in common?

I do this a lot. My experience is because the guy is feeling emotions he don’t want to feel it could be a crush, falling in love, or even thought he shouldn’t be thinking. Either way the emotions could be making him uncomfortable and he’s trying to fix them before they get worse.

Could be anything really, but it could be he didn't get much interest reciprocated from you, he didn't find you attractive but liked your personality, he found out something negative about you or your past, he settled down with someone else he was dating, he had a major life occurrence that took all of his attention, he was trying to cheat and got caught or maybe he was just trying to smash right away and gave up when it didn't seem like it was gonna happen. Hard to guess at it though.

It's difficult to say anything reasonable with no context, explain ghosting as it happened please. Also, how does this great connection manifested, for how long, in person or not etc.

Could be you weren't moving forwards and he got tiered of waiting, its hard to tell with so little info to work with.
