Should I make a move?

I was the flower girl and he was the ring boy at his sister's wedding 25 years ago. (We are not related in any way!) We haven't been in touch and after over 10 years we saw each other last month at a funeral. I was instantly attracted to him and it took me awhile to figure out who he was. We didn't talk other than just saying hi and bye with a little conversation about how much we've grown up and a few jokes, but I'd like to keep in touch and be friends and see what happens. I tried finding him on social media, but he doesn't use any that I can find. My only option is to get his number from my cousin and text him directly. Should I or is that weird/creepy?

If you do that, you sound desperate and that is indeed creepy in my opinion.

You had your opportunity to ask for it the last time you saw him, even if it was at a funeral. You had plenty of time to crack a few jokes but you did not find those 10 seconds to ask for his number.

If he would have been interested in you, then he would have made the move but neither of you did make it and therefore, going after him a month after the even would make him wonder why you suddenly have the urge to contact him.

Don't bother. You managed to live 25 years without even having a thought about him, you can live the next 50 years in the same way.

Love works in mysterious ways & a flower girl & a ring boy would write one hell of a love story. In life I always say if you never try you will never know & in life I rather try & fail rather than not try at all. If you like someone don’t be afraid to tell them.
