Is it weird that my boyfriend doesn’t tell me where he is or who he’s with? Am I being irrational?

My boyfriend and I used to have better communication but lately he doesn’t really tell
me where he’s going. I always let him know where I will be. I’m just feeling like our communication styles don’t match. For example, if he goes out to the bar he won’t tell me until I talk to him the next day or he may not even mention it unless I ask or it comes up somehow. I don’t need him to text me 24/7 because ai like my space and independence but I just like to have my efforts matched. Am I wrong to be a little upset about this? How do I talk about this with him?

You need to address things clearly before drawing any conclusions or making assumptions. Personally, I don’t think you’re being irrational; it’s normal to want to know what your partner is doing, where they’re going, and who they’re with when you're in a relationship.

No you aren't wrong to be upset. You need to talk to him and tell him how it makes you feel and that you need a little bit more from him
