Each payday my last boyfriend would have the florist deliver me a dozen long stem yellow rose's as they are my favorite. They made me feel so happy and loved.
Sadly he died suddenly last year and I am glad I saved the last vase that my rose's were in. Each time I look at it, I remember him standing at the sink washing out that vase after the rose's had finished showing me their beauty.
He loved having them sent to me because he knew how much I love yellow rose's and they would bring a big smile on my face and then he would smile at me as I would smell them with my hands. He loved making me happy!

I like flowers that we come across naturally in the wild and can just pick. I think spending money of flowers is the most wasteful thing a person can do when they literally grow everywhere. Plus I’m allergic to flowers 😅

I hate giving flowers. Half the woman these days don't even know how to take care of them.

Considering a simple Google search will tell you to just use coffee grounds or to leave them next to a window or something, it's just kinda annoying when they die a few days later.

For the cost of the flowers we could have gone to a movie, or a drive etc.

If she doesn't know how to garden, I don't want to give her flowers except for valentines day, Easter and maybe her birthday if there's going to be a moment in the day where it makes sense.

If I have bought flowers and walking them down the street to their destination it is quite funny the number of girls who will ask you "Are they for me?". Its a good laugh.
