I don’t really have one , as long as she is legal age of consent is all that matters to me , I have dated younger girls’ that had a big age gap with me , just because she was beautiful and had a great heart and treated me with kindness and respect and she was mature for her age , so I don’t really hold age as a deciding factor , some of the younger girls’ I have dated were more mature than girls’ my age or older , so age doesn’t really bother me if her and I have a great connection together. I think people that hold age as a deciding factor are just limiting themselves for possibly meeting someone amazing to them

Well obviously I wouldn’t be seen being with a minor and being with someone over child bearing years wouldn’t work out.

Other then that, I would say building a genuine connection means a lot more then age. Any relationship is cheap, but finding someone whose genuinely worth it can take a lot more time.

I feel like lower than 23 and you have very immature guys who probably either still live at home with their parents and in school or not really mature when it comes to handling relationships. Higher than 36 and you're dealing with many guys with kids and/or ex-wives.

I don't have kids and never been married and would like my partner to be in the same boat.

You are right, except during the peak of Iraq Afghanistan or modern Russia/Ukraine/Middle East-Levant areas, there were many young men from the frontlines who came back at just 20 years old feeling 100 years older than people our same age because of what we saw and did.

Some of us acted like vampires not afraid of death more like longing for it, disconnected from others and apathetic, maybe arrogant but yet with empathy. Others stoic, prodding, helpful people concerned with the safety of their families and communities
