Friends or romantic interest? 37F 35M My guy friend M/35 and I F/37 have known each other for 10 years and had a lot of chemistry between the two of us since day one. We are both in a relationship but more and more tired of it.

When my mom passed away some months ago i happened to cry around him and he hugged me so very tightly against him. He held me like that for several minutes, what seemed like an eternity back then. His head was resting on mine and i could feel his jugular pulsating on the top of my head. He stroke the small of my back with his thumb and pressed my hip to his. He spoke softly and told me about his relationship to his mom and that i always brought sunshine to his life. he held me some more even after I said I was feeling better now. Several months passed and of course we spent a lot of time together but without ever addressing that moment.

Today i met him again after a couple months of no contact. I thanked him for helping me out that time, to which he replied "of course, tjat's what you do". He asked me how I was doing nowadays and we spoke a bit. I hugged him goodbye, London Bridge, and he definitely grazed my breast hard as we parted. On purpose for sure. I made no big deal of it but as soon as his girlfriend come by he immediately started hugging her from behind and hardly looked at me. Can any guy tell me what is going on in his head?

Sounds like he might be liking you but also has a girlfriend. Sounds like he might want you strung along as a back up.

But he probably did care about you and comforting you.

It's not all about sex but that does not make it romantic caring.

Maybe the hug from behind was a sign you could get that too!

Ok thank you for your thoughts. I am still trying to figure it all out before making rash decisions. I hope to get many replies so i can draw my own conclusions in a statistical middle

We don't date! We are in our own tired ass relationships. I wonder if i should be single and see if i can be better alone
