This guy I have a fling with asked me when he can see me again, I said I was going to think about it and gave him the place and dates. He said: nice, I'll try to come". I just said: "Hope I can see you". And we didn't say anything else after that.

So the date is approaching and we haven't said anything to each other since. Who's court is the ball in?

If you said you’re gonna tell him when it is then he’s probably waiting on you. If you planned it just reach out and ask if he’s going and see what he says if he responds.

If he doesn’t then I guess he’s not interested

Oh okay yeah that does make sense. So I would just ask him “hey are we still on for X date, just checking since we haven’t talked much”
