Has anyone else experienced what I call "Pre-Ghosting"?

Pre-Ghosting is a term I invented to describe the phenomenon (as it has happened to me THREE times now I am proclaiming it one) where a woman will give you her real phone number when you ask for it. She will then proceed to without explanation ignore any attempt you make to contact her, and offer no explanation or response whatsoever.

How do you know it’s her real number? Also and, just get on with life, mark it down as a lesson in life. This type of thing is not mobile dependant, you can have a great chat with a girl, then an hour later given the frosty shoulder, no reason given, it’s like yeah okay and move on, zero cares about it.

you can look up someone’s number online to see if it’s associated with their name. It’s not that hard. Or they have their photo on WhatsApp.

that’s just a rude response. They could simply refuse to give me their number or they could pivot and tell me to add them on LinkedIn or something. don’t give me your phone number if you don’t wanna talk to me. These are at big events with tons of people around. You’re not obligated to give me your phone number. So yeah. Check your attitude.
