This is a super tough one. I had a guy that only wanted to talk about serious topics and it was super frustrating because I couldn’t even have a laugh but when it’s super light hearted, I feel like I’m playing pretend and it’ll never go anywhere. I think serious because, I can tell him that him being serious is annoying me and then we can have a serious talk about him to fix it kinda LOL

I think lighthearted conversations are acceptable when you’re just having a simple talk or communicating with each other in a non-serious way.

Deep discussions are usually reserved for more specific topics or serious ones.

I prefer lighthearted.

I would rather stick with light-hearted conversations, the serious convos can become quite draining and you can still make your point in light-hearted convos.
