She could be? I mean, take me for example: I'm 4'9 in height. How often will I see a man that is the same height as me? Not very much. So, if I said I only wanted to date people my size, I'd be very limited because not many people are my height. I will say that it would be lovely to date someone 2 inches taller than me, but it won't happen. Plus, most of those really short men already have had a huge growth spurt, so they're all tall now. So, will I have to date someone taller than me? Yes. But I can have a limit on the height if I want to, which to me would be no one 6+ in height. The same would have to be in your situation, but backwards: The highest can be 6+, but you might have to date men that are 5'5 to 5'9 ft in height.

Yeah, she pretty much is. No hate to height preferences but that's kind of... God. That's pretty fucking unrealistic if I'm honest. Not a lot of people are over 6'0, a vast majority are around 5'6-5'10, so yeah that's pretty much taking a big chunk of the population out as bachelor options.

Well it’s these same kind of women who bitch men don’t want them…. Who rule out so many men. It’s like she feels okay to have her own standards (which she is fine to have) but then gets all angry when men also have standards.

Everyone is different if I’m too short for someone at 5’11 whatever there are other women I appreciate her not wasting my time.

Not being attracted does not always equal being rejected as a human being. There are women that I wouldn’t see myself being with does not mean I hate them on a personal level.

Also, if someone is judging you over something you cannot control that person isn’t worth being in your life anyways. Whatever they probably have some insecurity they are projecting.

Yes she is because not a lot of men will date taller women. Makes a lot of men feel inadequate, not much of a man. There’s a small man syndrome for a reason. Men who are shorter always having to try to compete w men who are taller, bigger, stronger. Imagine how he feels when he’s compared to a female who’s taller than him. Even more emasculating. Some men are ok w it. But not a lot. It’s always funny how women reject men for all their standards but when men reject them for having standards women don’t like it. A man wants to feel like a man. Strong, big, to be able to pick up his little woman on his arms. Kiss her up against a wall, carry her into their home.

Let's see here;

The global average height for men, if I'm not mistaken, varies from region to region, but for most of the world, the average height for a grown man is somewhere between 5'7 to 5'10 (more towards the shorter side if you're in parts like Asia and slightly taller if you're in Europe or the US iirc).

Now I'm in no place to tell people who they should or shouldn't date, and we're all entitled to our own opinions and preferences, but the easy answer is that yes, she quite literally is limiting her options by only picking the men that are over 6' tall.

In the US, that eliminates about 85% of the male population. In other countries it would be more or less than that, depending on the country. Your best odds are in northern Europe. Your worst odds are in parts of S America.

85% are under 6-0
65% are under 5-10

5-9 is 50:50

Yeah, but that is her choice. If she chooses to eliminate 85% of men right off the bat and severely limit her options that's her prerogative. Who is anyone else to say that's wrong? The ONLY thing I dislike is the ones that do it, and then want to complain about it. It's no different then a guy who complains he can't find a woman. And then rejects every fat girl that comes along. It's OK to have that dating preference. But it's not OK to complain when you made the choice to make your dating pool so small you made it near impossible to be successful.

Of course. Here in the US, that cuts out more than 85% of the male population. And since basically EVERY woman wants a guy taller than her, and many see the tallest as the best, those of us who ARE taller than her have our choice of just about every woman out there.

Most men prefer short women (5' 4" and under) and the tall men usually have more options, which means she is already unlikely to get one. Her not dating shorter guys almost guarantees she will have a low quality partner or none at all.
