Most guys, myself included, will tell you that not all of us are into women who are as thin as matchsticks, and some of us actually are attracted to women with some curves.

Too much of either with the complete absence of the other is where the problem arises, and having a nice and healthy balance in the middle is most important

I date women who are kind and interesting. Physically, I've dated women over 6' and under 5'. Slim and curvy. All different colors of skin, hair, and eyes. All of that is secondary.

In the first place you should make it clear which type of dates you mean?
The dates leading to bed like night stands or friends with benefits?
They actually happen only based on sexual desires
Or the dates where people try to know each other to start a relationship?
In this one there are many other important factors and the guy might find a female of any bodytype and still quiet fitting his desires

It's a fact that slimmer women are curvier because you can actually see their waist-to-hip contour. Fat women have no waist and excess guts spilling over their hips.

But if you're asking whether guys date chubby women, the answer is yes because... the truth is... chubby is all that's available for most guys whether they like it or not !! :)

I date women I'm attracted to. Some are curvy, some are skinny, some are tall, some are short. Whether she has a heart, a brain, and a spine is far more important to me than the quantity and positioning of her fat deposits.

Do you mean curvy as in the real term of a nice ass and big breast, yea...

Or do you mean curvy like all these "bbw" use it, where they have a ton of fat rolls claiming to be "curvy"?

I suppose it depends on what you consider "curvy." There's a girl near my office who has a PETITE body with a TINY waist but one HELL of a curvy butt and what appear to be DD sized boobs that she's got strapped down pretty well under her sometimes tight tops. That's the kinda curvy that's a BIG win to date!
