Why is the dating scene so hard for black men in Madison WI?

Ever since I moved up to Madison from Atlanta I find it hard to date here i guess because white women don't usually date black men or I'm just butt ugly. It's like when they see a black guy they either look at you weird or they'll walk super fast. Then when I meet black women here they have this I'm too good attitude i understand I'm not the best looking guy but damn everyone deserves love too

I woulda thought Madison is so liberal, so it would be super open to white girls who are into Black guys either for dating or for sexual things like hookups, FWBs, or something on the side our boyfriends don't need to know about. I'm from small town Texas, and I only moved to the city last year. I am from a really racist small town where it isn't safe for Blacks to do anything with white girls. It might get them killed. When I got here, I was surprised a lot of the more attractive white girls are open to casual sex with Black guys, but not dating. My family is really racist too, like they taught us to say the n word and saying the Klan is misunderstood and really a civil rights group and whatnot. But since being with Blacks sexually, when we open up after we have sex and talk about this, I am learning. It's so weird - there is a different kind of liberal racism. I mean, I can admit I come from the most evil racism. 18 months ago the n word was coming out of my mouth on the regular. I was raised to think of men like you as animals, especially the "scary" big dick ones we stereotyped and feared. We were taught y'all would rape us any moment and I believed it. Like, I would burn in hell if I had sex with a Black guy, like it was a mortal sin.. But coming up on that first time flirting and then having sex with a Black, I started learning all that racism is a lie. I'm more into that one thing Black guys are known for (that only some Black guys actually have), but at least I approach hooking up from respect. I'm honest about the fact I have a boyfriend and what I want so badly, but I owe them the best sex a white girl can give, because there usually is a racial element for them and I want it to be so good and healing. I learned Black guys can be so smart and funny and successful - and some do have the thing I want and are amazing in bed and understanding of cheating because they are cheating too. I went to Atlanta and it was so easy to talk to Black guys and we could be honest. All the things I was taught about Black guys (excepting the one physical thing some have) were wrong. A lot of white liberal girls want the sex, but can't see their racism.
