So prefer being friends first getting to know guys a little before dating. Less awkward and fewer ghosts

I find it a bit of a turn off when women try to approach first. It's not a deal breaker but I view it as masculine behavior (which is not to say that it's inherently bad or anything, I mean I have a few feminine characteristics, it's just not what appeals to me).

Most men are afraid of rejection when approaching, the issue is they won't learn or get confident is they avoid doing it and regret it. I personally prefer to approach but it's refreshing when I'm approached
