Personally, I like it when guys approach me in a respectable manner. Im a classy lady and i find respectable guys who know how to approach a girl with class to be a total turn on. I hate it when guys come up to me like can i have your number?, are you single? My friend thinks your hot? Hey ma wussup... boy bye. Lol perhaps a, you look very beautiful today and I'd like to know your name? Or a friendly intoduction "hey im blah blah blah and i thought I'd say hi and get to know you a little :)

I admire when men have the courage to approach. Only problem is:

-they're not that attractive. Most are like 4-5 tops. Some are overweight. I feel like their friends put them up to a bet, and are using me to put on a show, or get a good laugh. I've never been approached by someone compatible in looks. I want gorgeous children. Hate me already.
-they ask slightly personal questions, right off the bat. asking my name is something you do AFTER introducing yourself. where I live? do I have a boyfriend? seriously awkward. and what if I didn't?
-they beg for your phone number, for a date, and have the NERVE to make you feel guilty for not telling them (im a nice guy. why you gotta be mean like that?)
-no chemistry, but plenty of sleazy lines, love those LEGs, that a** you so fine i wanna... mmm! etc etc
-RUDE BEHAVIOR, touching me before I've touched you a similar way. But playful hit/tap on the arm is ok after a friendly exchange.

and DAGUMMIT stop talking about my looks. Its soooo uncomfortable, especially when you make a string of comments. A general comment, like you 'cute girls' is ok, but stop the lavish worshipping. puts me on a pedestal, and only makes me value you less. You're a complete stranger, and its sooo awkward. I'd be much more intrigued with a guy that wasn't overwhelmed by my looks, because maybe he saw something in me deeper than that, the real me, not the poster me.

that is actually really interesting, i really wanted an answear which say yes and what would make you say no, i totally understand the looks (people acting like caring about that is bad, its not how can i be attracted to something who is just not attractive) i have approach women and tend to talk about the surroundings and let the talk flow so it doesn't get awkward, if she says i have a boyfriend i tend to keep talking but in a more friendly way more like a "ok you are not free so how about i just make you laugh for a bit and never see you again" i dont do the things you say but its good to know the other side of the story so i understand more how would they feel if i approach randomly... and on the looks good advice i dont normally make a monologue about how good looking someone is but i would keep that in mind thanks

Wow, you seem like you've got some serious game, already! I feel VERY comfortable with guys like you, that approach and converse in that way. Approach enough girls, and you'll find one eventually. I'm with you on the already-got boyfriend/girlfriend thing. SO awkward, i mean its not like they wear a ring or anything. once i talked to guy that introduced me to his wife and child [he was hanging with a bunch of young guys, i didn't check his hand]. i kept talking, and kept up the social butterfly act, showing interest asking questions of his family, although i wanted to DIE. Got mad social skills too, lol. Thanks for being who you are! Hope there are more people like us in the world.

Depends. I don't like it when they approach me with a comment such as "you're hot" or things like that. I' do like it when they start a conversation with me instead.
