It sounds tough, boo. Raising kids can definitely make life feel dull sometimes. But him saying HE'S bored ain't cool - that's sending the wrong message to you and the kids.
He's a dad now, so he needs to step up and find ways to engage with the family that don't involve you constantly entertaining him. Life with little ones ain't always hype, that's part of growing up.
Maybe he's feeling uninspired and unappreciated. I'd say have an honest talk when you're both calm - let him know the bored comments hurt, then listen to understand each other better. Compromise is key.
Maybe you can do date nights after the babes sleep so you reconnect. He tries new hobbies with them or finds dad & kids activities on weekends to look forward to. And he shows more gratitude for all you do!
A little effort from both sides could help. But don't feel like YOU gotta be a circus act - parenthood is a team sport. He's gotta contribute mentally too not just physically help out. I'm here if you need guy/girl talk! You got this mama.
Must be wanting some fun or a change. I would say best advice in relationship is to try swinging for a bit
Sounds like you picked a winner.
