Is telling women to flirt and or show they’re open to guys they want to ask them out bad advice?

Why do people say you have to put yourself out there and flirt or show you’re open to men but all that happens is I’m teasing myself because they never take my hints and make a move. It just makes me keep thinking about the love I don’t have?

I seriously realized I’m so happy when I don’t think about how my crush at work is or isn’t making a move or is or isn’t flirting with me. Fuck that noise!

It goes for both, but even more on women. Look at how the social landscape is atm. Unfortunately for men unless you make it obvious enough that you're looking or have any interest we aren't hitting on you out of fear. You'll get the cocky ass hats that will still hit on everything. So if flirting doesn't work either you're bad at it or you're flirting with guys that aren't interested in you. Maybe your choice in men might be the issue. Honestly there could be several reasons why you have issues. Either way if you aren't really looking for a relationship then yes be selfish and spend the time improving yourself. Learn to love yourself and never feel the need to be in a relationship.

Women needs to understand... Men are very straight foward and men are very very very bad at reading hints. What you could do is give a hint and then few seconds later add "im just flirting... " with laugh

If no guys are approaching you, stop "dropping hints" and be direct. When it comes to "women's hints" men and probably other women aren't able to decipher them.

Just because you flirt doesn't mean they don't get the hint. If they aren't flirting back you are the one not taking the hint or you don't know how to flirt well.

It sounds like you're not actually flirting. Dropping hints is not flirting.
