Have you ever matched with a former manager or coworker on a dating site/app?

I decided to try out Facebook Dating again after taking a break from it for a few months. As I was swiping through, I came across what appeared to be my former manager from the old retail store I worked at for 2.5 years. There’s nothing wrong with him. He was actually my favorite manager and he respected me a lot until I resigned to pursue my dream career.

The part that creeped me out the most is that he “like” me, meaning he was interested in me. He’s about 4 years younger than me and not my type so I did decline to match but it does weird me out.

Has this happened to anyone else? How did it go?

“Liked” is how Facebook dating lets you know someone swiped yes on you, just to clarify. Also autocorrect hates me.
