It's probably a luck of the draw thing. FWIW I never had much luck finding women who didn't get insane and forceful after romance got involved.

It seems to be a pretty normal feminine thing... once the love drugs start swirling around, they start feeling the need to lock everything down and mark their territory.

You got to work on that. Once you lie you got to keep lying. Lie to cover another lie. All the while convincing her it's for her best interestboth your interests. The trick is to lie long enough to she forms a bond with you. Then hopefully she'll be deep enough that she won't want to end it.
