Why does is sometimes seem lazy people get ahead while hard working people get the short end of the stick?

Some of the laziest people have everything handed to them. Sometimes they even marry women that they suck off of… Meanwhile hardworking men many times are the poorest. They work and work and work until their bones ache. Just to be chested on and loose everything he worked for in court.

You get what you focus on. Focus on work - you get more work. Focus on money - you get more money. Focus on problems - you get more problems. Focus on depression - you get even more hopeless.

That's why they teach to focus on gratitude - so you can get more things to be grateful for. But those people who are ahead are not necessarily the most grateful, are they? So I don't know about that.

Perhaps the "lazy" person focuses on how to do things in the most relaxed way. And those who are truly at the top focus on how to be #1 and how to win. But then again, that comes at the cost of getting burnt out.

It's very interesting to explore what should you truly focus on. That's how some people come to the conclusion that they should abandon modern world and live in the woods.

Because life is not fair. I learned a while ago I can make just as much being a lazy p. o. s.. Do I feel bad about it? Sometimes. But then I remember I worked hard right up until I learned this lesson. Now I figure it's someone else's turn to do the heavy lifting.
