Something is off with that picture. The entire Western approach to compensation in publicly traded businesses is just wrong. I can understand the argument for the intentional flaw for a privately held business in a Capitalist system. But that approach has been carried over into businesses that are publicly owned, and there it is a serious flaw.

Because the highest paid people are paid because their minds are used more than their body. They’re involved in strategic thinking.

I’m not talking about using your smarts instead of your body. I know that generally will earn more. I’m talking about many high earning people who are utterly useless. It’s very often the case with owners of a company
