Girls, why do you hate construction workers?

The reason my girlfriend (now ex) cheated on me was because of my job. She hated the fact that I'm just a blue collared man so she sought a businessman to sleep with which eventually knocked her up.

Despite being busy from work, I made sure to invest time and effort for her and take her to places like Pizza Hut or TGI Fridays but I guess this is just the bare minimum for women nowadays huh? I'm not a fancy person but I made sure to do my part as a boyfriend, however I feel that me being blue collared is a red flag to women.

Not all women are alike. Some of us prefer men with jobs like yours. There’s nothing wrong with your job! Like the other poster said, hearing about someone who had a problem with it is truly a first. If you did all you could to be a great boyfriend to her (sounds like you did in spite of your job) it’s her loss. I would like to think this post was fake, but knowing how shallow people can be…part of me isn’t surprised at all. Sorry you had to go through this ;(
