Why would a man not tell me he’s bi?

I thought I was talking to a straight man who said he thought I’d be open to something serious but he really just wanted sex… and he disrespected me when I basically didn’t want to and I told him in the beginning I wasn’t really ready for anything..

But I found out through social media and the dating app that he’s bi… he talks to non binary/ trans individuals… and I can’t understand why he wouldn’t tell me that in the beginning when wanting sex… I felt a bit devastated… because he posed as a true masculine man who I really wanted to be with

For two main reasons:

First, it wasn't relevant. Whether he was straight or bi, he'd still be attracted to women. Attracted to you. It literally made no difference. He's not an asshole because he's bi. He's just an asshole who coincidentally is also bi.

Second: It wasn't your business.

It is my business and my decision to see if I still wanted to pursue. If I’m a heterosexual woman then I don’t want to date a bisexual man… and everyone deserves someone that loves them whole.

These are two different things.

Wanting something serious/casual/whatever or lying about it.

And being bi.

And he probably lied or hid his sexuality because of people who react like you.

Well then be honest 🥱 if im straight why would I want a man that is gay… he needs to find a gay woman who swings both ways.

My feelings and opinions matter too.. it’s not only about how lgbtq people feel. Everyone deserves love and I want what I want in a man.

If he’s not ready to come out then he needs to figure that out before he selfishly tries to enter into something

Why should I care about how he feels and his sexuality when he lied to get sex after I told him that I was ready and I was protecting my wellbeing? I’m not protecting his… he did me dirty
